Release dates

To organise myself and to help the group I made some very clear notes about what will be released when and how we would release e.g what media platform. Being part of social media I  thought this was a helpful way for myself and everyone else to know when work needed to be finalised and ready for uploading. Once I uploaded this to basecamp I created folders on my laptop to keep myself on track of what days I would be uploading and this just made it easier for me. Plus having the final scenes already on my laptop meant I could straight download it to Youtube or just send it straight over to another member in the social media team.

Open Day - At Greenwich University

Promoting our transmedia project as well as the course, I managed to cut out the sugar paper and added icing sugar to the homemade cookies. I also had the chance to speak with students and parents who are interested in the university and studying a media course. I was able to show them the  equipment which we use and they will be using if they choose our course.

Hair & Make Up - Filming Day 3

Here I am doing Jassie hair who plays the Mum (Zara Tanner) as I done it one the first day and we wanted it to be the same due to continuity. But here what I have done is gave her a smaller roller at the front of her head showing that it is another day where she just goes off to work.

Hair & Make Up - Filming Day 3

In these images I am hands on doing one of our actress make up, with this actress I am making her look young and by this I am making her cheeky blush pink and adding glitter. I decided to have a go at doing the children make up for this scene as I didn't do it on the first day of filming, so it was only fair that we took turns in doing hair and make up for each character.

Filming Day 2

Throughout the second day of filming, I took the chance to gain more experience as well as helping out my other group member with equipment. Here we are filming the news reports which will be part of our story, each of us took turn of being on camera and using the equipment. Learning how to focus on the object on screen actuarially  and get the perfect framing, plus picking up just the sound needed and not making it fuzzy or loud, as this will effect our project when it comes to editing and putting it all together.

Set Design - Filming Day 1

Scene where the mum and son have been taken to a refugee camp. Here Selin and myself built a small cosy tent with some of the our groups help. We added blankets in to make it look low cost and scary for the actor and actress.

Scene where the CEO admits whats on the chip. Not much had to be set up here, but for a location I managed to get a free room within the university and then using the desk already in the room as 'Maxwells' office showing the west corp logo on the computer so that it gives it a professorial look.

Hair & Make Up - Day 1

Here you can see me in action doing the actors make up and hair, getting on with my role as set design. Each of actor/actress has certain make up for each scene which we plan to film today, we had our mood-boards with us to help us remember exactly what style or colours we wanted. Having this role I had to be around as of running onto set a few times, to either add make up to stop shine through the camera and also dirt as part of the scene.
